We understand the climate changes increasingly affect the environmental sustainability as part of our social responsibility and mission to achieve "Green Business Development", we adopted ISO14064-1 at Shalu and Taichung Harbor plants to quantify the greenhouse gas inventory.

In 2022, Lukang plant also completed the adoption of ISO 14064-1 Greenhouse Gas Emissions Quantification setting a benchmark for future reference toward carbon reduction. Lastly, in 2023, we plan to quantify Greenhouse Gas Emissions at Kaohsiung plant which would complete our group of GHG inventory quantification process.

 
In 2022,
our energy consumption reduction goal was to reduce by 1% or more of the annual electricity consumption (approximately 291 kWh),
and in greenhouse gas emissions to reduce by 148tCO2e or more.
We added 833 kWh from the additional solar panels installed.
Total of 3,256.843kWh were generated as compared to the generation in 2021 of 3,143.199 kWh, an increase of 3.6%.
